I’M GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!!
No, not American Idol, better! So, I am truly amazed that I have been nominated by XBiz for Webstarlet of the Year. The ‘red carpet’ awards show in Hollywood takes place February 12, 2009. The nominations of hot girls in the business for this award are: Aaliyah Love, Alyssah Simone, Ashley Fires, Ava Knight, Catalina Cruz, Illeana’s, Ivy Black, Jana Jordan, Jelena Jensen, Jordan Capri, Kayden420, Puma Swede, Tiffany Preston, Trisha Uptown, &, yours truly Vicky Vette.
So, why am I amazed (other than the fact I am a decade older than every other nominee)?….. I make adult movies literally from my home and distribute them online all over the world direct to the fans – with no help whatsoever from the adult industry. I don’t work for Hustler, Digital Playground, or Brazzers – I shoot exclusively for myself and you folks. Soooo, to get a nomination for webstarlet of the year, when companies do not get any ‘back end’ out of the exposure is surprising to say the least. I am very, very flattered.
I am proud of the last twelve months & you guys helped out to say the least. Who can forget all the votes you guys sent in for things like Booble Girl of the Year 2008 (you shocked quite a few industry people by voting my ‘Boobles’ number one in the business), and MissMyspaceUSA in March, not to mention the support you gave for charity efforts like Aidswalk Atlanta (watch the video on my videos page). Things have grown immensely in the last twelve months. My network of websites includes, my site Vickyathome, Nina Hartley’s official site, Sasha Sparks’ official site, and a camshow network. I like to think that my little corner of the web is now a destination to go check out and see what is happening rather than some shrine to past achievements. We are already planning all kinds of fun & different events for this year – join the action now so that you can be a part of it. The people who join my adult network become my ‘core’ fans & friends.
Do I expect win the award on the 12th? Of course not, but it does give me a chance to do one thing…. INVADE HOLLYWOOD WITH THE VETTE NATION ARMY IN TOW. Soooooo, if you are in the area on the 12th, let’s rough up the red carpet a bit! Hollywood has not seen me in a while and I would like to see the looks on some shocked industry faces!
