Do you like Preggo Porn?

So some of you may remember I did a top 10 list of things I would like to see changed in adult. The one that came in at #10 was that there should be no ‘preggo’ adult movies. I make this blog with the proviso that I am a huge proponent of the adult industry and the right to shoot ‘adult’ fun on camera. The first amendment rocks and the attempts to curb those rights can be very dangerous. There are however some instances where although the activity is totally legal and within the protection of our laws, that as a society we should ask whether the activity should be allowed – ie: are some things just so wrong that we should at a minimum find them offensive?

So the subject of pregnant porn is one that is double edged for me. I did some research on the net before making this post and found tons and tons of available pregnant porn to look at…. including teenage girls ‘knocked up & banged up’. There is a demand from a sector in the world for this product or it would not be produced and disseminated to the general public.

Me personally? I think ‘adult entertainment’ is just that….. two or more ‘adults’ engaging in ‘consensual’ sex with each other on camera – NOT two or more adults engaging in sex with an unborn baby. Legally I guess there is nothing wrong with it. While it is ILLEGAL to shoot adult porn in front of kids (in fact I am quite sure you can go to prison for child endangerment by shooting adult in front of kids), I guess you cannot get in trouble if a pregnant teen is shooting yet another installment of ‘Teen Pregnant Sluts Banged for Your Pleasure Vol 39’. I am sure that some people might argue that: 1. the act is legal; 2. a woman has a right to do what she wants with her own body especially if she is broke and needs the cash; 3. drilling a pregnant teenager is an ‘art’.

My take? Society is pushing the boundaries too far with zero knowledge of the long term effects on not only the participants but also the unborn children. Some of you know how I feel about teenagers in porn – let alone broke desperate teens who may be using the money from a shoot to pay for an abortion. I question whether it is really consent when the girl is likely desperate and the production crews are likely using girls who are about ready to give birth …. the baby sure isn’t giving ‘consent’ to the filming.

So what is the attraction? The degradation of a teenager who is already knocked up? Is it the shape of the girl that reminds the viewer of ‘the child within’ when he watches it? Is there some deep fantasy of child abuse? Does the size of the belly remind the viewer of his own belly?

I just don’t get it. I wonder whether some of this adult material is a reflection on the growing trend in celebrity circles to use getting pregnant for fame and cash. It used to be risque to do even one subtle nude picture (such as Demi Moore’s nude pregnant pose). Now, it is suddenly in vogue to announce ‘a la Britney Spears’ that you are pregnant so that your picture can be on the cover of People Magazine. We as a society still buy Britney’s albums and celebrity even though her kids were taken away from her by the criminal justice system. I guess there is a whole blog on that subject in the future.

I most disturbed at the total disregard for the unborn child. Having been in the industry I am aware of the sometimes total filth and dirt that you can encounter at adult shoots. I am not a doctor, but from what I have read on the internet certain pregnancies are ‘high risk’ ie… the chances of miscarriage go up during intercourse when pregnant. Sexually transmitted diseases, while tested for, are a risk during sex. Why risk the unborn child? Is the risk to the child worth the ‘artform’ of a 15 minute video clip? There is also the question of what will happen years from now when a child of the internet age matures. You can just hear the conversations around the dinner table now: ‘Mom…. the kids at school say I shot adult films with you and three guys! Is it true?

You know, people wonder why some kids turn to drugs or end up as prostitutes etc. I may be completely off base but until someone can rationally explain to me either the fascination with or benefit of preggers porn, may I kindly suggest that we should at a bare minimum voice an opinion against such stuff? I leave you with a picture….. I cropped it from a teen preggers site of a girl seemingly on the verge of going into labor just about to shoot a hardcore scene with three young adults who presumably are old enough to be ‘babysitters’. Does it turn you on? Does it make you want to buy it, watch it, and enjoy it?

I am not looking for an army of ‘yes’ men. If your Commander in Briefs is off base, lemme know.

    Vicky,

I agree totally with everything you said about this issue. I love watching most porn, except for pregnant porn, watersports (golden showers) and sado-masochism. I believe pregnant women doing hardcore porn could put their unborn babies at risk. Pregnancy is a special personal relationship between mother and child. Why don’t these women wait till after their child is born before doing porn. Makes no sense to me.

I’ve got to disagree here to acertain extent, whilst pregnant or teen porn does nothing for me I would like to raise a couple of points.I s the desperation for money due to the impending birth or to sustain a drug habit? Many short term performers in porn are there because of that.
I also find it hard to believe that a womans first appearance in porn would be in a pregnant condition,I think she would have been there
    before.
Whilst she is being exploited by the film makers she is also prepared to exploit herself and her unborn child.
It is in my opinion a very tawdry busines and reflects no credit on any one engaged in it,and I don’t share your sympathy for the performers.

I definitely agree with you about avoiding exploitation of teenage moms. I was wondering about pregnant porn in general.

    1. I’m sure it turns some guys on to see that a woman has had, ahem, unprotected sex at least once. Personally, I’d want her to be on the pill or Depo Provera or something, and damned sure she be drug and disease free (not to mention her partner/partners).

    2. A guy can make it with a pregnant woman because … well, he KNOWS he can’t make her pregnant NOW.

    3. The worst movie title EVER becomes a huge hit: “Knocked Up.” (Can’t wait to see what they would call the sequel!!) If you can mine humor out of unexpected parenthood, you apparently can make it work for anything.

    4. The MILF factor. Enough said.

    5. Well, at least she didn’t abort. (Cf. Sarah Palin and Bristol Palin — and they almost overlapped!)

With all of that said, teenage pregnancy is something that bothers me a lot. I’d like to know how we can do something for moms (and many dads too) who are very young. Any ideas?
